Haze

The legend of “Haze” has kept many minds intrigued and fascinated about its origins. For several decades, this unquestionable classic provided its users with psychedelic, uplifting and energetic effects. The legend begins with the “Haze brothers” from Santa Cruz, California. They were very enthusiastic about sativas and created a sativa-only hybrid, strictly from landraces. Mexican sativa was mixed with Colombian sativa, then South Indian and Thai sativa were added, which created a 4-way mix of pure sativa landraces. Thus “Haze”, a mythical creation was brought into this world.

Allegedly, The Haze brothers split up and went their separate ways, although the story does not end here. The Haze seeds found their way into the hands of the Dutch, which modified and developed its genetics. In the 70's, Haze varieties were documented to have different colors, such as purple, red and silver. Of Course, the Purple Haze was a big deal in the 70’s and still stands paramount for the ganja enthusiasts of today. As Jimi Hendrix asserted “Purple haze, All around, Don't know if I'm comin' up or down, Am I happy or in misery? Whatever it is, that girl put a spell on me”. This masterpiece was recorded in 1967, which clearly shows that the Haze magic was misting its way into the lungs of legendary musicians, as far back as the 60’s.

For a couple of decades, the Haze has been mixed with dank strains which created a versatile assortment of the euphoric sativa genetics. Let’s begin with Super Silver Haze, the winner of three High Times Cannabis Cups in the 90’s. To this day, it stands as one of the champions on the menu of Dutch coffee shops. The strain is a hybrid of Northern Lights, Skunk and of course Haze. The Super Silver Haze Autoflowering has come forward, creating a faster growing plant, that generates wonderful silvery feels. It would be spectacular if the legendary Super Silver Haze could be mixed with the Blueberry strain to generate a fruity tasting excellence; well, ladies and gentlemen, it has been done! Blue Brilliant keeps the SSH aroma whilst delivering the Blueberry essence, which will compare with the sweetness of your grandma’s pie.

Of course, let’s not forget the classic of the classics: Amnesia Haze XL. The strain has been hybridized from many cultivars, ranging from Thai, Jamaican, Cambodian, Hawaiian and Haze. South Asian and Afghani indica are also present. This Internationally mixed strain is the true wonder of the world, delivering the cannabis enthusiasts with a citrus tasting sativa experience. Also, this variety comes in autoflowering format as Amnesia Haze XL Autoflowering.

Let’s proceed to another hit that crawled its way into growers' palettes, the White Widow Haze. You are probably thinking “It’s White Widow, man”; well, that’s partially true. This legendary and one of the most popular strains has been mixed with Haze, which creates a more cerebral high while generating uplifting creativity with its sweet tropical taste.

Before getting into the next strain, we have a question for you. Do you love chocolate? Statistically, you probably do. Choco Candy is another Haze strain, delivering sweet dreams to the consumer's consciousness. The baby of Chocolate Haze and OG Chocolate Thai has a great potency with a strong chocolate taste that would bring Willy Wonka to his knees.

The legend of the Haze brothers will roam inside of your soul next time you experience their strain descendants, filling your head with mystique and creativity. Haze has been blended over the years with many delicious varieties, so get out there, into the world; grow these amazing species and commemorate the legends which persevered with their ganja endeavors for the future generations to come.
